Passing of Noel Jones

It’s with great sorrow that I inform everyone that Noel Jones passed away Sunday (9 August) morning in Virginia. His daughter Jodi was able to be at his side when he passed.
Noel, along with COL Don Grimes, established the Special Operations Detachment (SOD) in 1974, which later became the US Army Foreign CI Activity (USAFCA). Noel served as the Director of Operations until his retirement in 1988.

The cemetery has specific rules. It is suggested you not arrive before 1230. There will be a guide to direct you to the staging area. You will have to stay with your vehicle until they are ready. About 1255 they will lead the group to the Chapel for the service.
There will be a reception to follow at Noel’s home.
