LTC (Ret) Stephen Wayne Preston, ACISAA Board member and Secretary, passed away on 19 April 2024.
It is with great sadness that the ACISAA Board of Directors has confirmed the passing of LTC (Ret) Stephen Wayne Preston, ACISAA Board member and Secretary, on 19 April 2024. We heard some rumors in late-April, but were unable to confirm his passing until today. We do not have any information on Stephen's cause of death and the only online information available can be found at http://obituaries.acremation.com/o/preston/64262/.
At the time of his passing, Stephen was the CEO and Managing Director of The Key Hole Group LLC, a Houston, TX based private security and intelligence consulting firm. I knew Stephen when he commanded the Special Investigations Detachment. I'm sure there are others within the ACISAA membership that knew him much better than I and I encourage you to post any remembrances you have of him to our Forum.
